I gave my first art lesson last week with the young and talented Hannah Bennet. We discussed Pop Art and made these cardboard t.v.s to talk about mass media and social simulacrum. Her work is about the oil spill and our involvement with nature. Mine involves gurus from india, cartoon eyeballs and a neon soccer ball. Go figure.
